How To Disable Certain Keys on Keyboard Mac OS? [Macbook Pro]

Is one or more of your keyboard keys malfunctioning? Here is how you can disable specific keys using a third-party software called Karabiner.

Step 1: Download Karabiner from this url.

Step 2: Open the downloaded file.

Step 3: Run the .pkg file that it shows

Step 4: Follow the installation instruction and launch the app from launchpad once installed.

Step 5: In the "Simple Modifications" tab, click "Add Item."

Step 6: In "From Key" choose the key that is malfunctioning. Then, in "To Key", choose "vk_none (disable this key)" option.

Step 7: Repeat step 5 and 6 if more than one of the keys are malfunctioning.
