[Solution] Steroid Launcher Keeps Stopping Micromax Error

Micromax default steroid launcher can be really frustrating sometimes. I encountered this issue when I performed factory reset of my old Micromax phone. After the reset was complete, I was unable to access the homescreen. An error popped up, "Steroid Launcher has stopped working." I was able to fix this issue by installing Nova launcher.

Here is a quick solution to this problem.

Step 0: Make sure your phone is connect to WiFi and you have a computer with active internet connection.

Step 1: When your phone is turned on, open the notification panel and go to settings.

Step 2: Scroll down to "Accounts", and tap on it.

Step 3: Select Google from the list and login to your Google account. 

Step 4: Now from your computer, open play.google.com and login to the same Google account.

Step 5: From your computer, go to https://play.google.com/store/apps and search for "Nova Launcher"

Step 6: Click on install and select your phone from the list.

Step 7: Wait for the app to be installed on your mobile phone. 

Step 8: Launch the app when it's installed! 

Now change your default launcher to Nova Launcher.
